Our solar friend, Gustavo, is visiting the U.S. for the first time! Over the next month+ Gustavo will be assisting Elemental Energy with solar installations throughout Oregon to learn about grid-tied, roof and ground mounted PV systems. In addition to exploring new areas of solar, Gustavo will be collaborating with Twende Solar for a potential solar project in Latin America.
While trained as an electrical engineer, Gustavo has led a diverse range of projects ranging from solar water pumping systems for rural Nicaraguan communities, off-grid solar systems for household illumination, training rural communities and technicians on renewable systems, mapping hydroelectric systems, and so much more. Members of our team have been lucky enough to have worked alongside Gustavo, admiring his dedication and passion for helping rural Nicaraguan communities receive electricity and water through small scale renewable energy projects. Welcome to the USA Gustavo!
